Nash in the cash! Now Jarret jack is in the cash. When big signings like this happens it is impossible to speculate the Raptors fans just need to sit back cross their fingers and hope it works out for the best.

It is hard to put a finger on his worth until you give him a go - he could take it to a complete other level again, as the say a changes is as good as a holiday! Ben from the increase my vertical hub

I doubt he's worth $5 million regardless of situation, but I don't think it will become some sort of unmovable albatross deal that you will come to regret either. You're also probably paying for a career year. He flourished here by being the most aggressive ball-handler in an uptempo, free-wheeling offense that maximized his skills while hiding some of his flaws. There were a few end of game situations last year where he made some utterly head-scratching jump-pass turnovers that made Pacer fans livid. And people in Portland were questioning his decision-making long before he ever stepped foot in Indianapolis.

You guys certainly aren't the 1994 Knicks, slowing the game down, but I think you'll see a few more of his warts this year when he's asked to make more plays in a not-as-well-spaced half-court set. As you say, though, yall need some aggressive scoring in the back-court next to Jose, and you are getting exactly that. And as a fan, he's a hard-nosed, consummate pro who's good in the locker room and community.

He's basically a poor man's Cuttino Mobley. Or maybe a bigger, more versatile, less brash Jannero Pargo.

Agreed that it's not worth it for the Pacers to keep Jack around at that price.

I'm a Raptors fan, though, and I'm excited to have him. Ya think he's worth $5 million for the Raptors? They really did need a combo guard like him.
