And, yeah, had a feeling that G-State was gonna get blown last night. Second night of a back to back and their top seven guys — particularly Monta — have just been playing a silly amount of minutes for like two straight weeks now. Seriously, look at <a href="http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/boxscore;_ylt=AkcIipY.4PqZcrvZKqPR9EqQvLYF?gid=2009111705" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">the minutes in this boxscore</a>. That, plus the thin Rocky Mountain air (not to mention the fact that they were, oh by the way, playing the second best team in the West) seemed like it would be too much to overcome for this young, inconsistent cast of Warriors — even when it's being led by an out-of-his-goddamn-mind-right-now Monta. Don’t forget K-Mart, another big guy more athletic than any Pacer.

Denver was pretty aggressive about forcing the ball out of Monta's hands, sometimes doubling high up on the wing and above the three point line. Of course, it might help that their PG's have some modicum of defensive ability, and that they've got two athletic bigs (Hilario & Anderson) to help protect the rim.
