I remember back before Larry Brown when the Pacers became a perennial contender, how frustrating it was to see them get lit up at the line by teams with more star power.  Against Boston, players like Kevin McHale who could barely walk at that point would get the whistle every time they went up for a shot.

It&#039;s something that really sucks about the NBA but getting the calls are equal parts play style and reputation.  The Pacers definitely don&#039;t have the latter but hopefully one day they won&#039;t have to fight such awful differentials.]]></description>
