I think somebody has some info on Granger that he doesn’t want to be let out. Either that or he just straight up got paid to throw that game. I don’t see how somebody could just suddenly turn into the worst thing that ever happened to his team.

Good thing you and all the other hack writers covering the Pacers chose to make attendance the lead story going in to the game (aimed at people who already have tickets) and then didn’t mention the great crowd last night. You suck!!

This game consolidates the reasons why the Pacers do not have great home attendance–no one wants to watch their team lose after that team has instilled confidence in the fanbase. This is like the absent father promising Disney Land and then after picking up the kids dropping them off at Pizza Hut. “Come to Bankers Life, where maybe, just maybe, the Pacers will not embarass you for your ticket purchase!” is not a great implicit marketing pitch.

I love how confident you Pacers fans are. You seem to think your team is so superior to the Magic. I guess you forgot the Magic whipped you 3 times this season. Dwight or no Dwight, the magic have lots of tough guys with tons of pride on the roster. Keep assuming you will win in 5, so Magic fans can laugh all the way to the second round. You might be better on paper, but the game is played on the court.

That was such an exciting game to watch on tv just to see them lose. They definitely won’t play this bad again, and I still think they will win the series in 5 games. Maybe they should go to George Hill or Paul George late in the game over Danny Granger because Granger has never been a great dribble/drive player late in games. They are better ball handlers and penetrators, so they could maybe drive with Danny coming off a double?? I don’t know, just a thought.

Embarrassment was the right word.

Reggie Miller never traveled with the game on the line.

I’ve supported Granger for years assuming that eventually he would lead the team out of the cellar. But he proved last night what he has always been, a loser.
