Post-Game Grades: Pacers Wax Wizards
How you beat the Wizards.
|David West, PF 22 MIN | 4-8 FG | 0-0 FT | 3 REB | 1 AST | 8 PTS
Was pretty invisible.
|Danny Granger, 27 MIN | 8-12 FG | 3-3 FT | 5 REB | 2 AST | 20 PTS
Third straight monster game. Made 5-of-6 in the 1st quarter for 13 points and set the tone for a Pacers team that embarrassed the Wizards in every period but the 2nd.
|Roy Hibbert, C 20 MIN | 6-8 FG | 0 REB | 3 AST | 4 BLK | 13 PTS
Really nice little game, making hook shots. Plus, that monster block. 1 board would have been cool though.
|Darren Collison, 32 MIN | 7-8 FG | 3-3 FT | 3 REB | 11 AST | 17 PTS
How’s that for shutting up people who want him coming off the bench? To sum it up with a Guilty Simpson line: “Hi, hater. I’ll carve a smile right next to your frown, like laugh now, cry later.”
|Paul George, SG 21 MIN | 4-5 FG | 0-0 FT | 3 REB | 3 AST | 9 PTS
|Dahntay Jones, 21 MIN | 1-3 FG | 3-4 FT | 2 REB | 0 AST | 5 PTS
Got smacked in the head twice so the only real takeaway you’re hoping for is complete health.
|Leandro Barbosa, SG 15 MIN | 6-10 FG | 0-0 FT | 0 AST | 14 PTS
Smooth, quick, under control. The Hill/Barbosa backcourt off the bench can be very fun. They really seem to like passing to one another and doing little loopy cuts to open space so the other guy can find them. Like two annoyingly good 2-on-2 playing punks at the park.
|Louis Amundson, C 20 MIN | 3-4 FG | 8 REB | 2 BLK | 7 PTS
“Lou Amundson is awfully, awfully close to a “must re-sign” this summer at this point.” – @TimDonahue8p9s
|A.J. Price, G 4 MIN | 0-1 FG | 0-0 FT | 0 REB | 1 AST | 0 PTS
|George Hill, 20 MIN | 1-7 FG | 0-0 FT | 2 REB | 5 AST | 2 PTS
Yikes. Passed it well enough.
|Tyler Hansbrough, 29 MIN | 4-8 FG | 6-7 FT | 4 REB | 14 PTS
Atta, boy. Tyler. Although this made me chuckle: RT @Truth_About_It: Tyler Hansbrough reminds me the vacuuming-obsessed, amphetamine-addicted old lady from Requiem for a Dream.
|Jeff Pendergraph, F 4 MIN | 0-0 FG | 1 REB | 0 AST | 0 PTS
Minutos de basura.
|Lance Stephenson, SG 4 MIN | 0-2 FG | 0 REB | 0 AST | 0 PTS
