This wasn’t the most important thing Roy Hibbert did tonight in helping the Pacers beat the Heat to take a 2-1 series lead headed into Game 4 in Indianapolis. After all, he had 19 points, 18 rebounds and 5 blocks. But it was the coolest thing he did. Throw it down, big fella.

    That was a rather meek monster dunk, Smits-like, even. But it still brought tears of joy to my eyes. Hibbert had a hell of a game.

    The Heat are always going to struggle against any team getting great play from a true center. Tonight that’s what Hibbert was for us. If we focus on getting him the ball like we did tonight at times, and he is aggressive on the boards…we can play with anyone. We’ve yet to show a willingness to work through Hibbert CONSISTENTLY this year, though. We’ll see how the rest of the series shapes up. GO PACERS!!!
