@ Jesse, Realist. Good comments. I am also on the list of those tired of hearing about Leonard's awesomeness and Hill's...the weaknesses are never really laid out. Winning the starting PG spot and keeping it? Putting the team on his back for a few playoff games? Showing consistent development in only his first few years in the league?

I would have preferred Mayo to Barbosa, even with the low shooting percentage. The match-ups would have been different, perhaps leading to better shots, and Barbosa's defense was horrible. Also, I would trust Mayo off the dribble a bit more...

IMO, here's the problem: do we really have accurate information about which person in the front office orchestrated which offseason moves? So Morway is blamed for letting these trades fall through--that's understandable. But what if it was Morway who was behind drafting Paul George? Or trading Murphy for Collison?

Losing the OJ Mayo trade was tough. But for the record, he was as bad as Barbosa in last year's playoffs. He averaged a few more points, but shot terribly (27%) (Barbosa shot 37%).

Really?

Mayo or Crawford wouldn't have been as good as Barbosa? That's the spot we're talking about. Barbosa laid an egg these playoffs.

Also, add me to the list of people who are sick of hearing about Leonard being a slam dunk for the Spurs and that we suck for acquiring George Hill.

Morway was right (or lucky) to lose both Mayo and Crawford. Neither of them would have been as good as what we've got. Also, we should have kept Kawhi Leonard. So, Bird doesn't look so sterling himself. Exec. of the Year is just a beauty contest. There's only one test or legacy for a good exec. Build a team that can challenge for a ring.

Frankly, i am tired of Larry Bird's "Maybe i will, maybe i won't" attitude. It might be time to send his Brett Favre wanna-be arse out of town. Be a Pacer, or don't. Stop holding the franchise hostage. The Pacers will move on without you and they will be just fine. Mr. Bird, play it all in or piss off. Period!
