haha. all you pacer fans talk smack about portland.
when in reality, portlands worst season in a long time was last year.
sure we had a horrible season.
but we were managing to make the playoffs almost every year before that.
at one point a few years ago we could have easily taken a championship
but unfortunately greg got hurt, b roy got hurt. so we got left with lamarcus and batum for the past few years. in reality, the blazers are only a couple keys peices away from being an elite team again. but raymond felton and jamal crawful completely fucked this team over. we were a 50+ win team until they came around.
and last time i checked you guys arent the greatest team in the league either.
so have your fun while it lasts indy.
portland WILL ALWAYS have the better fan base.

We really need to push harder to sign Hibbs to a 5 yr deal in the $65-68m range. The extra year for him gives him security, and means we save about 1-1.5m / year in cap space from the Portland deal. For all of you who think he's not worth it, I implore you to tell me why not? He's still young, he's still improving, he just made his first all-star team and tasted some playoff success for the first time, and this team is in some ways built around him as the anchor. If we let him go now, we're basically starting again. You need to maintain cohesion with a group and let them grow together, not start again every couple of years. I know he's no Bynum or Howard, but he's pretty damn good at what he does, and only getting better. Pay the man, and move on to address our other needs.

I really get sick of hearing the "small market team" argument when it comes to Indianapolis and the Pacers. Last I checked everyone's talking about PORTLAND and all these great, wonderful moves the Blazers want to make or are willing to make and then along come someone to say Indy's a small market team.... as if PORTLAND is some sort of "super-metropolis". Indy has a population of 300,000 greater than that of Portland, people. So please stop using it as a "woah is us" excuse.

If you're paying Danny Granger 13.1 Million/Yr and you're ok with that, then only an IDIOT wouldn't think Hibbert's worth 14.6 million/yr. I've heard the so called expert sport writers begin a commentary by saying Hibbert's not worth it and then end the same damn commentary by saying he's better than many players who are getting more.

So which is it already?

They won't sign Kaman in any case, if for no other reason than the photo above. He'd scare many senior citizens and probably most children and the greatest danger in that is the fact we are a small market in the psychiatric field.

It all a gamble on what center to get or resign. I understand the pacers are a small market team who can win it all here in the near 2 to 3 yr future with the right key moves. With a full summer work out, basic passing, lay up. etc. I feel my team can be rank #2/3 Behind Heat or Boston in the East this yr. While the magic (No Howard), bulls (No Rose), 76ers (No Size), hawks (No Players) will start out struggling. So hope fully the front office get it right and pull the right trigger this yr bring in 2 shooter to help the sometime show up bench. And i do agreed i was very upset in the Heat Playoff series that Roy dont control the center when Bosh was total rule out. He played way to soft never will be a Shaq force on the floor. and the same goes to Paul George play to soft. When we was up on the heat 2-1 series.. omg
