Post Game Grades: Pacers Blow 17-point Lead, Lose to Spurs
It’s unfair to sum this game up as just 0-for-14, but I don’t feel like being fair at the moment. However, if the offense keeps moving in the direction it has over the last couple of games, then I’ll make it up later. For now, this picture is really the bottom line.
|David West - 30 MIN | 7-13 FG | 8-11 FT | 8 REB | 3 AST | 22 PTS
An otherwise strong performance marred by 0-for-3 inside 8 feet and 2-for-4 from the line over the last five minutes, contributing to the Pacers collapse
|Paul George - 34 MIN | 6-14 FG | 1-2 FT | 4 REB | 2 AST | 15 PTS
Was a non-factor defensively, and only scored 5 points after the half.
|Roy Hibbert - 30 MIN | 5-18 FG | 0-0 FT | 11 REB | 2 AST | 10 PTS
No clue why Indiana ran post action to him with the score tied at 95. Thoroughly unreliable offensive player now shooting under 38% from inside 8 feet on the season.
|George Hill - 34 MIN | 5-15 FG | 1-1 FT | 4 REB | 7 AST | 11 PTS
Generally eaten up by Tony Parker (33 points on 15-for-23 shooting), Missed a lot of good looks early, some iffy looks late.
|Lance Stephenson - 25 MIN | 4-5 FG | 0-0 FT | 2 REB | 2 AST | 9 PTS
Ridiculous move on Tony Parker. Another great push on the break, but other than that…
|Tyler Hansbrough - 18 MIN | 1-3 FG | 1-2 FT | 12 REB | 3 PTS
11 rebounds in first stint, 1 in rest. Maybe should have been on the floor at the end of game instead of Roy, but if that’s true, then, well…God help ‘em.
|Sam Young - 20 MIN | 2-5 FG | 1-2 FT | 4 REB | 0 AST | 6 PTS
He was Sam Young.
|Gerald Green - 16 MIN | 2-5 FG | 0-0 FT | 0 REB | 2 AST | 6 PTS
Didn’t really notice him.
|Ian Mahinmi - 17 MIN | 3-7 FG | 1-2 FT | 3 REB | 7 PTS
Good strong 1st half performance. Not much second time around.
|D.J. Augustin - 15 MIN | 3-7 FG | 1-1 FT | 8 AST | 8 PTS
Far and away his best performance of the season. Very positive impact on the game.
