How David West Helps the Pacers’ Score Easy-Strike Points in Transition
West's touchdown pass to Green didn't shock me . It was just...
Big win in double OT for the Pacers in their home opener, knocking off the Kings 106-98. Here is how each guy played individually tonight. Agree? Disagree? Express your thoughts below in the comments or yell at me (@8pts9secs) or Tim (@TimDonahue8p9s) on Twitter.

David West - 47 MIN | 7-21 FG | 4-4 FT | 18 REB | 18 PTS West has been far more assertive over the first three games than he was at any point last year, and I shudder to think where the Pacers would be without him. However, he might be pushing just a little too hard, as he’s missed 24 of his 38 shots over the last two games. |

Gerald Green - 24 MIN | 6-9 FG | 4-4 FT | 3 REB | 0 AST | 17 PTS A shaky start melted away in the second quarter, and we finally saw the efficient performance we were all hoping for from Green. Oh, yeah, and a couple of ridiculous dunks, too. He has no concept of gravity whatsoever. |

Paul George - 48 MIN | 6-15 FG | 17 REB | 3 AST | 16 PTS There was a point in the second half, where I thought Paul finally shed the pressure of being a “go to guy,” and just played the game. He made mistakes after that, but was much more comfortable and effective. His rebounding (39 in three games) has been very impressive. |

Roy Hibbert - 43 MIN | 6-11 FG | 10 REB | 3 AST | 12 PTS A double-double for Roy, but once again, the Pacers found it hard to get him shots. Through three games, only Ian Mahinmi is taking fewer shots per 36 minutes than Hibbert. |

George Hill - 45 MIN | 7-17 FG | 4-5 FT | 8 REB | 5 AST | 18 PTS Other than the 7-for-17 shooting, George Hill’s line is very nice, but still, it’s hard to really give give marks to the ostensible floor general of an offense that spends so much time stagnating. |

Tyler Hansbrough - 16 MIN | 1-3 FG | 4-4 FT | 5 REB | 6 PTS Nothing spectacular, but solid backup minutes, which Indiana will take. |

Sam Young - 12 MIN | 1-5 FG | 0-0 FT | 1 REB | 2 PTS Not somebody I really want to see taking those corner 3s very often. |

Ian Mahinmi - 10 MIN | 0-2 FG | 4-4 FT | 2 REB | 0 AST | 4 PTS Something of a non-factor tonight. |

D.J. Augustin – PG 13 MIN | 1-4 FG | 1-1 FT | 3 AST | 3 PTS Like Mahinmi, didn’t really have much impact on the game, one way or the other. |

Lance Stephenson - 32 MIN | 4-12 FG | 2 REB | 10 PTS | +22 One night after playing his best game in the NBA, it’s possible that Lance Stephenson was even more impressive against Sacramento. His line doesn’t look great, but he was +22 in 10 first half minutes, and that may be one of the most accurate in-game +/- results I’ve seen. |
