Podcasting the Pacers Season So Far

by on December 9, 2012 at 5:49 pm

In the lead up to tonight’s rough matchup with the defending Western Conference champs, me and Tim Donahue jumped on Skype to discuss what is going on with the Pacers. Obviously, things are looking better of late, even considering Friday’s loss to Denver, but nothing is going as planned.

I won’t go into any more detail here, as we spend 65 minutes doing exactly that in audio form. In bad news, we chat about the offensive struggles, Roy Hibbert’s struggles, Paul George’s early-season struggles, the bench’s struggles, and some perhaps questionable rotation decisions by Frank Vogel. In good news, we talk about the defense, David West and … … I dunno. Maybe another thing or two I forget.

Enjoy. We’ll try to do these more often now that the season is developing some themes.

interesting comment about how Paul George’s potential lies in a catch-and-shoot offensive style, rather than creating shots off the dribble (because, well, he sucks at dribbling). I agreed with that

“I think puppies die when they come on the floor” – on the bench and it’s offense.

I lol’d. That will get me through the day, failing a miracle win in OKC.
