See, Larry was Tyler before there was a Tyler, and The Legend was known as quite the endorsement draw himself. And if you watch the commercial below, you can see why. (video via Basketbawful)
Some have been shocked at just how well Tyler Hansbrough sells stuff. He’s a mobile phone-moving, car-hawking extraordinaire, and I would expect that, at this point, he is just sitting back, turning away offers left and right while waiting for something more befitting his spokesperson talents.
But perhaps the only thing he’s better at than moving product is acting.
Both Cannes and The Academy have reportedly been very impressed and theatergoers around the globe are now wondering how an All-American basketball player ever found the time to become such a great actor. Did he take summer classes at Julliard? Did Daniel Day-Lewis take him under his wing? Is he just a natural?
Well, it seems like we now have our answer. JE Skeets of The Basketball Jones and Ball Don’t Lie fame coached him up. Here’s an inside look at how a thespian is made. (video via The Jones)
Tyler Hansbrough is essentially the new Bo Jackson.
Not only is he an All-American basketball player, but he is, to my knowledge, the first NBA star to also crossover into the social networking-based dog-catching profession. Yes, according to this documentary below, Tyler, aka “The Dog Catcher,” is now leveraging his vast social network to find dogs for sad children.
Nice work, Mr. Hansbrough. (video via @SNtheBaseline)
